There hasn't been much for me to talk about lately, so I apologize for the lack of updates over the past couple of months. Politics have been boring and dull, bills are doing what the smart people knew they'd do (screw people over), food and energy prices are skyrocketing due to turmoil in the middle east, and everyone's blaming everyone else for their problems. So in essence, nothing new is happening. The video games I've been playing have been disappointing to infuriating, which led me back to Dragon Quest IX, a game that, by all accounts I should have stuck with due to its' awesomeness. I can't play Marvel vs Capcom 3 since the matchmaking is completely busted. Dead Space 2 and Need for Speed have angered me to the point of quitting as well. All in all, it seems like games just keep disappointing me nowadays more than ever. I played the Mass Effect 2 Overlord DLC, which was really good, but it was short-lived.
In the world of sports, the Capitals are struggling like they have all season, the Hurricanes are fighting for a playoff spot as well. The Wizards and Bobcats are mediocre as well while Boston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Antonio and Dallas are all major players just like everyone thought they'd be. However, starting next week expect some news on a daily basis. Why exactly? Because I'm heading down to Florida for MLB Spring Training. I went a couple of years ago and it was a fun time even though I got to see the Astros and Braves every other game. This time I'm seeing a much more diverse group of teams including the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies and Cardinals.
So next week I'll be posting daily updates of Spring Training games I saw, discussing what I liked and didn't like from the games. Until then I hope to have at least a couple of more news posts. See ya!
